So I changed both to 20 I have changed the buffer size to 30, but ProMods still won't work.Red Sea Map by TerraMaps NOTE: By downloading our maps, you agree to our EULA ( ) terms and conditions. I just checked that line in ATS and ETS2 and both of them were set at 10. you'll have to redo your settings in the options.Īfter doing this, try promods again and let us know what happens. Just be aware and i'm sure you'll know this. It'll probably set itself to "20", but you can change that value to "30". That's bad news, especially for something as heavy as what promods can be.īetter still, delete the config and let ets2 build a new one, then make sure to set the buffer before restarting ets2 the next time you drive. Originally posted by paulieGTR:I don't know what's going on with your config file because SCS changed the buffer size in an update, but for some reason yours is still sitting on "10". I'll be back with another post/comment when I've tried. So it might be really slow loading I bet. And an answer for your first question, no it doesn't crash me out to desktop. So I'll try and wait a while before I give up. Ah okay, I've given up after like 2-3 minutes of waiting because I've been used to like 5 seconds loading time. Subsequent load-ins shouldn't take so long, the game doesn't re-cache navigation unless there is a change to the map or cargoes. Would hope it doesn't take that long for you, but it may take a few.Įdit: And it should only do this the first time. It has taken as long as 15 minutes (and longer) for folks on lower-end systems. Try letting it sit for a bit and see if it doesn't load up. Promods adds quite a bit to the map and with your i5 CPU this might take a few minutes. Originally posted by ~~ Ryu:When you're trying to load with Promods, is the game actually crashing you out to desktop or is it getting to around 60% on the loading bar and appear to become unresponsive? That log you posted stops at the navigation caching, which is where it would be sitting at the 60% spot for a bit while it figures out where all the cargo is going.
